How Jesse got here
Jesse started in mortgages and real estate investing in 2003. He taught himself the harder corners of the business — purchases subject to existing financing, pre-foreclosures, trustee's sale acquisitions, fix-and-flip — by closing them, not by reading about them.
The lending career took him through some of the largest direct lenders and brokerages in Northern California. He saw the loan from inside both channels: the direct lender's product menu and the broker's whole-market lens. The broker channel won. Costs are lower for borrowers, the lender list isn't capped at one shop's box, and no client has to be turned away because this lender doesn't fit that scenario.
So Jesse started True Blue Lending. The pitch is the same one you'll hear on every page of this site: a brokerage, not a call center. One broker on the file from intake to clear-to-close.
Outside the office
Jesse flies planes. He rides his bike. Family time matters more than either. Northern California native — he's also lived in Colorado and Miami, which is how True Blue ended up with offices on both coasts.
